Practical emergency and critical care education for veterinary teams
Ready Critical Care provides specialist-led education designed to help veterinary professionals think clearly, prioritise effectively, and work confidently when clinical pressure is high. Sessions are practical, case-based, and tailored to the experience of the participating team. Education can be delivered online, within your veterinary hospital, or as an intensive small-group workshop.
What We Offer
Ready Talks
One-hour live webinars
Ready Talks are focused, clinically relevant webinars for veterinary hospitals, professional groups, and veterinary organisations. Each webinar includes approximately 50 minutes of teaching followed by time for questions and discussion. Sessions can be delivered privately to an individual veterinary organisation or as part of a larger education program.
Ready Sessions
One-hour interactive sessions delivered within your hospital
Ready Sessions are small-group, in-person education sessions designed around active participation rather than passive lecture delivery. Sessions may include case discussion, decision exercises, equipment review, team communication practice, or facilitated analysis of an existing hospital process.
Ready Workshops
Intensive 3–4 hour small-group workshops
Ready Workshops are designed for teams that need more than a lecture. Each workshop combines concise teaching, progressive cases, practical decision exercises, and facilitated discussion. Workshops are primarily dry-lab based and do not require live animals. Maximum 8 participants.
Bespoke Education
Tailored sessions for your organisation
A tailored session may be developed for an individual veterinary hospital, professional organisation, conference, or education provider. A written proposal will be provided where the scope requires significant development or hospital-specific preparation.
CPR and Trauma Certification Programs
Ready Critical Care is developing future training pathways in veterinary trauma and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. General trauma education, CPR readiness reviews, crash-cart sessions, and non-certifying team simulations may be provided through the current catalogue. Official VetATLS or RECOVER certification courses will only be advertised and delivered once the relevant trainer or instructor requirements have been completed. Official courses will follow the curriculum, duration, assessment, and pricing requirements of the relevant certifying organisation.
Locum Availability
I am available for locum shifts in emergency and critical care. For practices outside the Sydney metro area, shifts are typically scheduled in fortnightly blocks — a practical arrangement that makes the travel worthwhile for everyone and gives your team a meaningful period of specialist support.
